Payroll &
Florida sales tax.

Payroll and sales tax are where small businesses get the most penalty notices. We run them on a fixed calendar so deposits, reports, and returns are never late.

Payroll

  • Weekly, biweekly, or semimonthly payroll with direct deposit
  • Federal tax deposits and quarterly Form 941
  • Florida reemployment tax (RT-6) quarterly reports
  • Annual Form 940, W-2s, and W-3
  • New-hire reporting and onboarding paperwork (W-4, I-9 guidance)
  • Owner payroll for S-corporation shareholders

Florida sales & use tax

  • Registration with the Florida Department of Revenue
  • Monthly, quarterly, or annual DR-15 returns, filed by the 20th
  • Broward County discretionary sales surtax applied correctly
  • Commercial rent tax questions and resale certificates
  • Reconciliation of point-of-sale reports to returns
Our on-time promise

Late because of us?
We pay the penalty.

If a payroll or sales tax filing we're responsible for is late because of our error, we pay the resulting penalty and interest. You're responsible for funding your tax payments on time and sending us payroll changes by the cutoff we agree on.

Questions

Which payroll software do you use?

We work in Gusto and QuickBooks Payroll. If you already use another provider, we can review its filings and handle what it doesn't.

I have contractors, not employees. Do I need payroll?

Not for true contractors, but you'll need 1099s each January. Worker classification depends on the facts; we'll flag concerns and suggest you confirm with an employment attorney if needed.

I'm behind on sales tax. What now?

We file the missing returns, calculate what's owed, and help you request a payment plan or penalty relief from the Florida Department of Revenue where it's available.

Never miss the 20th again.
